Exhibition stand design and build for trade fairs in Lisbon.

At Standarte we design and build your stand for the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL) from start to finish: design, in-house manufacturing in our own workshop, transport, assembly and dismantling. A single point of contact for the whole project, with no subcontractors or middlemen, more than 20 years of experience and a regular presence at Lisbon's major events —BTL, Web Summit, Tektónica and ARCOlisboa. Because we control every stage internally, deadlines are firmer, coordination disappears and the finish you approve is exactly what is built in the hall.

We also cover the Lisbon Energy Summit (energy); the major medical and scientific congresses ESICM LIVES, ESRA Congress, PEGS Europe, CIOC and Cascais International Health Forum; beauty with In Beauty and FOYER Health & Beauty Summit; food with Snackex; the World Aviation Festival; and other events such as SIL, Sagalexpo and GSE Expo. They are joined by the SBC Summit, the world's largest iGaming and sports-betting gathering, which fills both the FIL and the MEO Arena. Also joining are Lisboa Games Week, the country's biggest gaming and pop-culture event, and Nauticampo, the boating, caravanning and outdoor show. That every one is linked is the proof of real coverage no local competitor can demonstrate.

Trade fair stands in Lisbon: keys to a successful stand, step by step

  1. Briefing and objectives. We understand your brand, your product and your goals at the fair to size the space and the investment.
  2. Design and 3D prototype in 72h. We engineer the stand with high-fidelity 3D software and deliver a photorealistic prototype so you can validate every detail before anything is built.
  3. Validation with the Audited Project system. Every approval —design, quote and changes— is recorded in a verifiable, archivable file: our 100% guarantee that what is built is what you approved.
  4. In-house manufacturing. We produce the custom carpentry, furniture and graphics under artisan-level quality control.
  5. Transport and assembly. Our own fitters and carpenters raise the stand with the pre-fabrication completed 24h before the opening.
  6. Dismantling. We remove the stand at the close of the show so you don't have to deal with anything.

Trade fair stands in Lisbon: venue technical documentation

The FIL, in Parque das Nações, spans about 100,000 m² and is organised into four pavilions of similar size —around 10,368 m² each (144 m long by 72 m wide)— linked by an exterior metal bridge. The clear heights allow large-format stands: Pavilion 1 reaches 15 m and Pavilions 2 and 4, 12 m (the halls range from 10 to 14 m), enabling double decks and signature structures. The pavilions are equipped with air conditioning, fire detection and suppression, smoke extraction, and exhibitor connections for electricity, compressed air, water and drainage, and telecommunications. The venue also includes a Meeting Centre (3 auditoriums and 5 meeting rooms), a multipurpose pavilion of about 1,200 m² and an underground car park for 830 vehicles.

We master the technical documentation FIL requires: applications for power and water connections, approved projects for work at height, health-and-safety coordination plans and the fire-reaction (flame-retardant) certificates for woods and fabrics under Portuguese regulations. We submit all the paperwork to the venue's technical office and leave the stand assembled and checked 24h before opening.

FIL offers wide ground-level vehicle access that streamlines unloading and assembly. We coordinate international transport, complete pre-fabrication in the workshop and a clean, on-time setup. Size your investment instantly on our stand prices page.

Trade fair stands in Lisbon: frequently asked questions

Do you design, manufacture and assemble the stand yourselves, or subcontract?

The whole process is in-house, with no subcontractors: we design, manufacture in our own workshop, transport, assemble and dismantle. A single point of contact for the entire project, with firmer deadlines and no coordination issues.

What is the maximum height allowed in the FIL pavilions?

The pavilions at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa offer clear heights of 10 to 15 metres (Pavilion 1 reaches 15 m and Pavilions 2 and 4 reach 12 m), which allows double-deck stands and signature structures. We always adapt the project to the venue's technical regulations.

Do you handle the technical documentation and certificates for FIL?

Yes. We manage the power and water connections, the approved projects for work at height, the health-and-safety coordination plans and the fire-reaction certificates for woods and fabrics under Portuguese regulations, submitting everything to the venue's technical office.

How much does a stand in Lisbon cost?

It depends on the square metres and the type of stand (modular, custom or premium). With our instant estimate based on m² you get a price forecast in seconds; we fine-tune the firm quote with you.

Do you also build in Porto and in Spain?

Yes. We offer the widest coverage in the Iberian Peninsula with the same builder and the same quality standards: we build in Lisbon, Porto and across Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao…) with the same reliability.

What guarantee do you offer?

Our Audited Project system records every project in a verifiable, archivable file (3D prototype, quote and approvals) and guarantees 100% that exactly what the client approves is what gets built.

How far in advance should I order a stand in Lisbon?

As a rule, 6-8 weeks for a custom stand and less for a modular one. In Lisbon add margin if your event coincides with the weeks of a big international congress: hotels, transport and suppliers sell out across the city, and assembly slots are the first thing to go.

We are a company with no branch in Portugal — do you handle everything?

Yes, and it is our natural ground: we work Lisbon cross-border with our own crew, no intermediaries. Transport, venue paperwork and assembly are on us, with a single contact person in your language. You cross the border just to open your stand.
