Specialists at the Zafra International Livestock Fair (FIG)
The Zafra International Livestock Fair (FIG Zafra), whose history and commercial tradition date back to the year 1453 around the festival of San Miguel, is established as the oldest and most important socio-economic, commercial, and agri-livestock event in the entire Iberian Peninsula. Every autumn, at the beginning of October, the Zafra Fairground —which covers an area of more than 25 hectares (250,000 square meters)— becomes the epicenter of the sector, gathering hundreds of thousands of visitors and exhibitors from Spain, Portugal, and the rest of Europe. At Standarte, we understand that standing out at an event of this magnitude and tradition requires outstanding fair design. We offer turnkey solutions in temporary architecture and custom carpentry, manufacturing premium corporate stands capable of withstanding the enormous influx of professionals and projecting the utmost rigor of your brand.
Our experience in Zafra encompasses the assembly of custom stands for leading companies in selective livestock, food, automotive, and industrial machinery. By having our own carpentry workshop with oven lacquering and high-end finishes, we directly control the entire construction process. This allows us to ensure timely deliveries and impeccable quality, coordinating on-site logistics with the Zafra Fair Entity to guarantee a hassle-free assembly in Extremadura.
Design and Engineering for Pavilions, Tents, and Outdoor Exhibition
The 25 hectares of the Zafra venue host exhibition areas with very different technical requirements. In Commercial Pavilions A and B and in the Institutional Pavilion, we manufacture premium interior stands using noble woods, MDF lacquered with satin finish paint, custom elevated ceilings, low-consumption direct LED lighting, and large-format backlit textile displays. These enclosed spaces are strategically designed to maximize visitor flow, incorporating custom counters, integrated product displays, and semi-open meeting areas to facilitate B2B networking and the closing of commercial contracts.
On the other hand, commercial activity in Commercial Tents 1 and 2 and, above all, in the extensive outdoor areas of heavy agricultural machinery and industrial vehicles requires robust structural solutions. At Standarte we design outdoor stands with raised platforms made of water-resistant wood, stable metal structures, and high-strength tents prepared for the weather conditions of autumn in Extremadura. These outdoor facilities are prepared to accommodate heavy machinery, tractors, and livestock equipment, ensuring 360-degree visibility and facilitating live product demonstrations under maximum safety and regulatory compliance.
Livestock Logistics, Safety Regulations, and Turnkey Assembly
The assembly logistics at the FIG of Zafra require absolute precision due to the massive presence of selected livestock (Iberian pigs, cattle, sheep, goats, and purebred horses) and the continuous movement of trucks and heavy machinery. At Standarte, we directly manage all transportation logistics from our workshops to the venue, carrying out pre-assembly in the workshop to minimize construction time at the fair. We take care of the complete electrical installation with an official certificate, high-quality graphic assembly, airbrush painting, and final cleaning, delivering the stand ready for use 24 hours before the commercial opening.
In addition, we handle all procedures and technical validations required by the Zafra Fair Authority. This includes projects signed and approved by certified engineers for complex stands or tall structures, official certifications of fireproofing for all materials used according to fire safety regulations (fire reaction class B-s2,d0 or higher), occupational risk prevention plans (PRL), and Business Activity Coordination (CAE). With Standarte, your company will exhibit in Zafra with complete peace of mind, focusing exclusively on your business objectives.
