The Feira de São Martinho is the oldest popular event in Portimão, in the heart of the Algarve, in southern Portugal. With centuries of tradition dating back to the 17th century, it takes place around the feast of Saint Martin in November and brings together, on a single site, a commercial showcase, traditional cuisine, crafts, attractions and popular tradition.
