Our workshop is in San Fernando de Henares, about ten kilometres from Feria de Madrid. On a site like IFEMA that distance is the difference between solving an installation problem in an hour or waiting for a lorry from another province. IFEMA is also Spain's densest calendar — twelve halls, one show after another — which compresses build-up windows, so we pre-assemble in the workshop and arrive at the hall to assemble, not to improvise.
