Stand builder for SMOPYC: what building next to construction machinery demands

At SMOPYC the stand shares the hall with excavators, cranes, crushing plants and trucks that weigh tens of tonnes. The builder's first job is not aesthetic: it is deciding where each machine rests, which part of the floor is reinforced and where power runs so equipment can start up in a demo without cables in sight.

The second constraint is scale. Next to a six-metre machine, a catalogue counter disappears. We build gantries, brand towers and large-format graphics that read from across the hall and, on outdoor plots, braced structures that stand up to Zaragoza's Cierzo wind for the whole show.

Stand builder for SMOPYC: how your stand is built

  1. Survey. Real measurements of the indoor or outdoor plot, clear height, loading access and the weight and turning radius of the machines you will exhibit.
  2. Engineering and 3D prototype. Structure, floor reinforcement, bracing and cutting list resolved before anything is cut.
  3. Manufacturing and pre-assembly in our workshop. Adjustments happen here, not between machines in the hall.
  4. Installation sequenced with your machinery. Our own team builds the stand and coordinates equipment entry with the venue, finished 24 h before opening.
  5. Dismantling and storage. SMOPYC is triennial; we keep the reusable structure for the next edition.

Stand builder for SMOPYC: and for the rest of Feria de Zaragoza

The same workshop builds for the whole venue calendar: FIMA, SMAGUA and FIGAN. The event page — dates, sectors and the full design-and-build service — is at stands for SMOPYC, and the city service at stand builder in Zaragoza.
